They have only scored three runs total in their two wins, and have only scored as many as four runs once in their last 10 games. Their offense is as lousy now as it has ever been. Cincinnati has a significantly better offense, and I just don't see them getting shut down two nights in a row. Sam Lecure starts for the Reds. He has been most reliable pitcher thus far this year 6-1 2.83 ERA. Last time out he lost to this same FLA team allowing 5 ER's. Don't look for that performance today as he rarely has two bad performances back to back. On the other hand FLA turns to Volstad who won at TB last time out. Don't be fooled by that performance as he has only won one game since beginning of May. The lineup of TB has been in a funk but yesterday showed improving signs. Today look for a full break out offensive game as TB pounds FLA!

They beat Stephen Strasburg and the Nationals last night, and I'm taking the White Sox to win Saturday behind the rejuvenated Jake Peavy. The righty has pitched very well in his last 2 starts, allowing 4 earned runs and 14 base runners in 14 innings. He struggled early in the season with his command, but he has walked just 2 batters in his last 19.1 innings pitched and he's really coming into his own right now. In fact, Peavy hasn't allowed more than 2 walks in any of his last 8 starts, and he has walked 1 or fewer batters in 7 of those 8.
The Nationals are 0-3 in J.D. Martin's 3 starts this season, losses to Cleveland, Houston and San Diego. He gave up 6 earned runs in his last start, and he has already allowed 5 home runs in just 19.1 innings pitched. Washington is 0-4 in their last 4 games, and I don't think Martin has what it takes to cool off this red hot White Sox team. The Nationals are 15-53 against the money line after scoring 1 run or less over the last 3 seasons. Chicago is 9-1 against the money line vs. an NL starting pitcher whose ERA is 3.50 to 4.20 over the last 3 seasons. The Danes cruised through qualifications and were most pundits "sexy" underdog shocker along with Chile. Denmark couldn't have been unluckier in Game I, first catching a very tough Netherlands in the opener, then playing the Dutch square before own goal proved to be their undoing. Denmark has solid World Cup pedigree with the likes of the Laudrop brothers and Lars Preben Elkjaer terroring opponent goals in the 80's and 90's. The African contingent has been disappointing this year with just one win in nine matches at this writing. The Indomitable Lions can't run out Roger Mila here and man-for-man, Cameroon does not match up well. In this loser go home match, Denmark pick minus change looks like one of the easier plays in the tournament.
